The members of the Pompton lakes Fire department have formed a "Quad Squad" This is a squad of members who own a ATV. These are used for searching, finding lost people and medical emergencies. Since Pompton Lakes is surrounded with woods we usually go in the woods as a team and drill. Our drilling includes extraction, backboarding, Locating people ( such as lost hikers) We can get called out night or day in rain or snow and we are prepared.
