About Us

Pompton Lakes Volunteer Fire Department

Our fire department is made up of 1 station that holds 5 companys. Firefighters are assigned to each company and it is there captains responsibility to make sure the apparatus is in excellent condition. He is also responsible for overseeing all operations within his company. Each Company is lead by 1 captain and 2 lieutenants.

Our Staff

Our fire Department is head up by Chief Dean Cioppa, his assistant chief is Bobby Mendell. You can see them on the chiefs page as well.
